Connections

Who does my connection request get sent to?

All connections are only sent to your friends within the app. You are always in control of the group of people you want to stay connected with.

Can I cancel a connection request?

If you change your mind about making a connection, you can always withdraw your request at any time.

How can I see who is trying to connect with me on a pending connection?

You won’t know who is trying to connect with you on a pending connection until you click accept.

Will the sender be notified if I decline their connection request?

The sender will not know if you declined their connection request. Once you click decline, the request is sent to another one of their friends. It's encouraged to click decline if you are busy so the sender can find a connection faster.

Why are notifications required to be on to connect with a friend?

Connections are time-sensitive and only last 24 hours. To be notified once your connection is accepted by one of your friends, notifications need to be turned on.

How can I end a connection early?

Once on the conversation page, if you click the options button, you will see the button 'End connection'. You can end a connection at any point and for any reason.

What happens when the timer in a connection reaches zero?

After the timer reaches zero, you can no longer send any messages and the entire chat will be deleted soon after. It's time to start a new connection!

Friends

How do I find my friends on Stumbl?

By connecting your contacts you can find who you know who is already on Stumbl. You can search for friends by their username on the 'Add friends' page. You can also invite friends onto Stumbl that you want to stay better connected with!

What happens after I block someone?

If you decide to block someone, you will no longer be friends with them on Stumbl, and they will be unable to send you friend requests.

Account

How can I change my profile information?

You can update your name, username, bio, profile photo, socials, and more by clicking the 'Edit profile' button.

How can I delete my account?

We're sorry to see you go. You can delete your account at any time in settings under the 'Account' tab.

Can I change the phone number associated with my account?

Currently, if you change your phone number you will need to make a new account.

Do I need a phone number to create an account?

Yes, as of now, a phone number with text messaging capabilities is required to create an account on Stumbl.

How old do I have to be to create a Stumbl account?

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account on Stumbl.
